    Is the Wiley book a supplement study material to the modules? Im confused because i figured I would have to do quite some reading but im under the impression that the approach of using the yaeger home study is watch all videos of the module, write notes during video, answer MCQs along w the video, then finally do all the MCQs suggested in the handouts. I feel like Im missing something here. especially since phil states in the intro video not to read ahead or do anything unless told, so i took that literally. however i cant find actual info as to what pages i would have to read from the wiley book. are there assumptions? Like using flash cards, reading sections of the wiley book before or after watching modules. I just need advice on how to use this Yaeger homestudy..thanks much.

    @dsal,

    The Wiley book is the mainstay of the Yaeger program. They advocate following the videos and doing the selected mq's in conjunction with the videos. I think you will find that everybody has a different way to use Yaeger. Jeff recommends people to watch all the videos first then go back and do the mcq's. He feels that when you do the mcq's while watching the videos you lose the information that you learned…since it is difficult to remember what you did weeks prior. I followed his advice, whether I used Becker or Yaeger. I watch all the videos first, which is the time that I also read the chapter, and take my own notes. When all of this is done I go back and do the mcq's. Then I take notes on the mcq's. I use my notes and the notes from the mcq's as a tool—I go back and reread them throughout the rest of the studying period.

    I hope that helps. You could also go back to the main threads on each exam and you could probably find info on studying processes. It is a topic that is addressed often.

    Best of luck to you!!
