Working as a payroll specialist will qualify for CPA license?

    Hello everyone,

    I am a CPA candidate in MN. I have passed all 4 sections of the CPA exam by December 2014. However, I have been working as a payroll specialist for a past year in a corporation. I am wondering will working as payroll specialist satisfy cpa requirement? I called the MN board of accountancy but they told me that they are not sure about payroll. Does anyone has previous experience working in payroll and get cpa license?
