I am about to have my work experience signed off by my boss in private industry accounting. He currently has a Colorado CPA license, which I believe may be a non reporting license as he did not have his work experience when he applied. Would this have any impact on him signing off on my work experience for a NJ CPA license if I intend to be able to sign off financials or work in public? Thanks for any info in advance!

Is his CPA active? I believe that Colorado only has one type of license and as long as he's active I believe you're okay. That was my understanding anyways.
