Work Experience Requirement for CPA License in NY

    Hi,

    Does anyone know if auditing work is a mandatory part of the one year work experience for CPA license in NY? Also, is it true that at least 50 percent of the time must be spent on providing auditing services?

    Hi Lily no, they changed that requirement in 2009. Any work exp under a cpa is acceptable.
