Ok, so here is my problem. I’m in the state of Georgia and currently the board of accountancy basically requires 1 year of experience with 2000 hours of work experience. However, my boss/CPA/supervisor who I worked for for past 5 years has passed away, therefore cannot sign my application. Is there any exceptions to this rule.

Any advise is greatly appreciated.

Did you try contacting your state coordinator about this? I think s/he should be able to tell you what to do in such circumstances…
