Hi guys, for my 2 years of work experience, I was wondering, can we split that up between several jobs? When should I request each CPA from each job to sign off on the forms? At the end of my 2 years, or at the end of each job respectively?

I am almost a year into my job right now and I am looking to move on. Would I be able to have my CPA supervisor sign off on my 10 or so months of experience, and then for my next job have the new CPA supervisor eventually sign off on the 1 year 2 months of experience?

    n

    Thanks!n

All, to get the Florida license, the Board requires one year work experience under a licensed CPA supervisor. There are several options to meet the requirement, but the one I come closest to is:

    n

“has rendered such services as are customarily performed by a full-time regularly employed professional staff employee of a certified public accountant or firm thereof engaged in the full-time practice of public accounting for at least one year…”

I worked for a year under a licensed CPA, but in the finance/accounting group of a Fortune 50 company. Has anyone submitted a similar experience (i.e. not in an actual CPA firm)? What it accepted by the board??n
