Wisconsin ethics exam?

    Hi all,

So I’m finally done with all four sections of the CPA exam, which means that the WI state ethics exam is the next thing on my plate. I just received my last score report from NASBA, and to be honest I have no idea what happens now. Is NASBA or the WICPA going to send me something telling me how to register for and take the WI ethics exam? I’ve looked online and found the WI DRL’s web site where you log in to take the ethics exam, but I don’t have any login info to access it yet. Has anyone done this in Wisconsin and knows what the process is?

    Thanks!

    I'm done!

I was just checking into that recently too. https://drl.wi.gov/profdetail.asp?pdetailid=28&profid=60&locid=0

    had the following info:

After you have completed your education, acquired 1 year of experience and passed all four parts of the Uniform CPA exam, submit your application to the Department. A complete application includes:

Form #130, Application for Certified Public Accountant Credential

Form #128, Personal Chronological Resume of Accounting Experience

Form #127, Verification of Employment and Experience Evaluation

Form #131, Verification of Examination or Registration Status

Original transcripts from your school, if applicable (see instructions) – Please note: We cannot accept copies

    Fees (see Form #130)

Pass the Wisconsin ethics examination. This is an on-line exam. You cannot take the exam until after you submit a complete application.

So it looks like more paperwork to submit. After you get through all this, let me know how it goes. I have one more exam to pass and hope I will be doing this soon as well. Good luck and congrats! (and Go Packers tomorrow night!)

I will soon be taking the ethics exam in WI. I turned in all of the paper work and have all the info to be able to take it. I remember hearing that there was some kind of “study guide” provided by the state. Is anyone aware of this? If so, where can I find it? Thanks!

Looking into the ethics exam for WI and wondering whether anyone has found or knows of anything we would have to study prior to taking the exam. I have heard it is considered “open book”, but what does WI have for a book? Looks like it is just an online exam. Has anyone gone through this whole process in WI?
