I just received notice of passing my fourth and final exam. I am now waiting on receiving notice from the MN Board of Accountancy that I have a passed all four sections so I can send in my application. It seems the Board of Accountancy is one of the boards shutdown. Is anybody else in this situation? If so, what are your plans?

I just tried to access their websites and they are affected by the shutdown. I do not know if they are 100% shut down, hopefully you can contact the Minnesota Society of CPA's (mncpa.org) and see if they have additional information that can assist you.

    FAR - 07/05/11 - 83

    Per MNCPA…

“The Board of Accountancy is one of the agencies impacted by the shutdown and their offices will be closed. The website will be unavailable, no staff will be in the office nor will they have access to email or voicemail.”

I think its safe to say for those of you who passed all four your going to have to wait. I'm wondering how its going to effect my reapplication for a new NTS. Hopefully this budget mess gets sorted out soon.

    AUD - 76 (lost credit), 71, 82!
    BEC - 84 (lost credit), 80
    FAR - 67, 76
    REG - 44, 64, 52, 72, 70, 54, 64, 67, 78!

Dude, I'm in the same spot!!! Yesterday I received my congratulatory letter from the CPA Examination Services. With the state shutdown I can't submit my application. After all of this time and effort and now it is completley out of my hands. For now I'm going to go to BW's on a Friday night, watch the Twins kick some butt and not feel guilty for not studying. 🙂

Just verified with Nasba and they are not doing anything with MN candidates until the shutdown is over. I am waiting for a final approval on my transcript before they release my score, so I will just go back to studying and not worry at this time. I assume NTS processing will be affected for those who are in need, so plan accordingly.
