When do I need to complete 150 credits?

Today, my friend told me that if I pass all 4 sections of the CPA exam, I have 60 days from the last exam’s score release date to apply for CPA license and I need 150 requirements met at that time.

I am wondering if it is true or not? since I just graduated from college and I don’t have 150 credits. I’m from Minnesota so I don’t need 150 credits to sit for the exam.

    Thank you!

I just can't imagine sitting for my first exam without a clear plan to licensing. That said according to this website you have 3 years after passing all exams to apply for your license https://www.mncpa.org/becoming-a-cpa/faq.aspx

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

I was under the impression the 150 credits was required before you even sit. I started my application process when I graduated with some 14x credits. They have a section where they ask when you expect to have the required credits.

    BEC-51,71,70,77
    AUD-50,62,68 (retake july)
    REG-55
    FAR-15(didnt study)

I'm also from MN and do not have 150 credits (taking 16 credits this fall to get my 150), but I believe mla is correct that you have three years after passing your last section to get your 150 credits and become certified.

I see from you signature you are taking FAR and BEC at the same time? How long did you study for both of them?

@Austin_109: I don't take them at the same time. I just take them in the same window so I (hopefully) know both scores on September 8. I spent 5 weeks study for Far and about 10 days for Bec. I study full time so I think it is reasonable time to study.
