I wanted to see what has worked for everyone here the best. Studying at more-than-full capacity for a short time period, or taking your time over a longer period?
Do you prefer to go all out over, say, 4 weeks or so and study at your max (in order to take multiple sections in a window), or do you prefer to take more time in order to take in all the info and learn to apply it?
The reason I am asking is because I thought I could do the all out method over a short time, but it simply broke my will power and I didn’t feel comfortable with the material, so I am switching to a longer approach after this section (FAR), and wondering if this has worked for, or hurt, any other takers? When I say longer term, I mean taking one test a window, so about 12 weeks at a moderate pace for each section. Of course, you still have to cram as much in the last week or two, but I am just talking about the prep time…
I keep thinking (Since I am funding all of my expenses instead of my employer) that my primary goal is to pass each section on the first attempt, rather than get to get done asap. But sometimes it is hard to keep that in mind 🙂
How people can pass this exam in one window is absolutely amazing and inspiring to me.
