Just sent in my last documents/materials and waiting for everything to be approved. Started studying for FAR using Becker.

Anyone have any tips or suggestions for this newbie? Wanted to put in a solid 2 months of studying in and sit for my first exam. Currently about 2 solid weeks in, really taking my time with it. Is that about on average or do I need more? Any pointers are welcome!

There are numerous posts on the FAR thread that may be of help. A few things just off the top of my head

–Allow plenty of time for review

–Don't worry about learning every point in each section on your first time through because it will take too long and you're not going to remember all of it as you get closer to the test – you'll get those points on your review

–Do lots of MCQ especially during the review

–Be sure to understand govt/NFP – 16-24% of the exam
