Ok my fellow Illinoisians, is that even a word :), have any of you taken the class at my alma mater. I just received a informational pamphlet in the mail about their tax school.

I just want to know if any of you have used it?

What did you think about it?

Also in the back of the informational booklet there is a blurb about Comperhensive Income Tax Course..anyone know if this?

    Thanks!!

I got my MST from Golden Gate University and highly recommend it. No silly GMAT required. All online unless you are in San Fran, Seattle or LA. I did most of my classes in person and it was very challenging. Seems like most people I see in the industry are going to GGU.

Best of luck with your decision though!

I'm really surprised GGU doesnt require the GMAT. Isnt that like going to a law school that doesnt require you to take the LSAT?

A lot of schools are moving away from the GMAT as it has not been proven to be a good indicator of performance in graduate school. I was pleasantly surprised when I was looking for MST programs that a couple did not require a GMAT.

Even more undergraduate programs are moving away from SATS.

I doubt the LSAT will ever be removed from any JD programs.
