So I have passed all 4 of my CPA exams but I am short of the 24 general business credit hours requirement. I was a neuroscience major and thus gained only 9 business credits in college. I plan to take online classes to fulfill the remaining 15 credits.
I know the general business credits need to be “non-accounting” courses, but I was wondering if my Gleim BEC review course can count as general business credits since it covers mainly general business/finance stuff.
I was also hoping for some sort of “waiver” of my general business credits since I have already passed the CPA exams, but I figured that wouldn’t be possible.
I emailed NASBA about this and am awaiting a response, but I’d appreciate any thoughts on this
Audit(11/5/13) - 89
Reg(5/16/14) - 86
FAR(7/18/14) - 82
BEC(11/14) - 85
