So I just took my last exam, AUD, yesterday, and waiting for the results (side rant – because it’s my last exam, now all I can do is wait and twiddle my thumbs until August since I can’t do anything until I see if I passed or not. If i did, awesome, if I didn’t, well then it’s probably too late in Q3 to retake. Anyway, side rant).
So I was looking at the work experience requirements for Texas on this site and this quote is a little confusing.

“One year of experience is required and shall consist of full- or part-time employment that extends over a period of not less than one year and not more than three years and includes not fewer than 2000 hours of performance”Does this mean that 1) All work experience that I get have to be within a 3 year frame? or 2) Just each job has to be less than 3 years?
I am currently working but now, but it’s not under a CPA, but 2 years ago I worked in a public accounting firm for almost, but not 12 months, so I still need a bit more experience for the 1 year. I don’t know if it means I need to try to get another CPA experience immediately right now before the 3 year mark ends from where I got my last CPA experience or if it matters? I’m not sure if this makes sense.
I did send an email to TSBPA as well, but as I await a reply, I was just curious if anyone else knew.
