Hoping someone might have had a similar situation and can shed some light on how this is all going to work. I currently live in Utah. I was planning on moving to Washington when I finish school, so I applied to take the exam as a candidate of Washington. While in school, I got a job in California. Now that I’m done with the exam, I need to transfer my scores to California in order to license there, but…

In the CPA Licensing Applicant Handbook on CBA’s website, it says, “California will accept examination scores only if the applicant met California’s education requirements prior to the date an applicant physically sat for the CPA Exam, not the dates the grades were released by his or her state.” When I sat for my first exam, I had just completed my ungrad, so I met the requirements to SIT for the exam in California… to actually LICENSE, though, there is another set of requirements.

Does anyone know which set of requirements had to be met?? Thanks.

    FAR - 08/10/14 - 85
    REG - 11/30/14 - 72, 02/20/15 - 87

What have I gotten myself into?

CBA finally answered, so I was able to get the info I need. If anyone has this issue in the future, you only have to meet the qualifications to SIT for the exam in order to have your transferred scores count.
