I moved from PwC detroit to PwC california.. I took all the exams in CA, but as a MI applicant. I do not have 150 credit hours, so need to get the license in CA. How do I go about doing this?

    FAR 11/13 - 78, BEC 1/13 - 82, AUD 2/23 - 94, REG 5/15 - 86

Remember this is a public forum and only the State Boards can tell you exactly what you need to do.

I would talk to CA board and know step by step exactly what is needed/required before moving forward. You don't want to waste time or money jumping through hoops only to find out you didn't really know the process and requirements.

You should contact the CBA-licensing unit to confirm before taking any action.

    Telephone: (916) 561-1701 E-mail: licenseinfo@cba.ca.gov

With that being said. You may have a few options.

    1. Apply and get licensed in MI then apply for reciprocity through CA. (Check w/ Cali licensing first, because they may not approve. They can let you know upfront what is required.)

    2. Apply to have your scores transferred to CA then apply for licensure via Pathway 1 (if you qualify). You need to look at the CBA handbook and read up on the different licenses to see what is required for your position. https://www.dca.ca.gov/cba/publications/applbook.pdf

    PS

CA is getting rid of Pathway 1 in 2014, which is the only way to get licensed with <150 hours at the end of the year.

So please get answers sooner than later. Otherwise, you may not be able to qualify for a license in CA.
