Hi, I am currently living in Nevada and finished CPA exam in May. Before I reply to a job offer in TN for a entry level accountant, I would like to clarify.

I have some questions about TN work experience.

1. Do I need “CPA’s supervision” like in many other states to fill out the form? TN State Board does not specify CPA must supervise and sign.

2. I read through requirements to be a CPA on TN BOA, it states that I need to complete one year of work experience in accounting acceptable to the Board. Anyone know exact job description to be “acceptable”?

3. I know it is one year of experience, but how they count? Just mark the first date of work and see if one year passed?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
