To all those who are in pursuit of being a CPA, wish you best of luck! I specially thank Jeff and the people over here in sharing their experience and making this online CPA community a great vehicle and inspiration of success.
I started my CPA journey in 2007, but due to certain commitments and other obstacles in life I couldn’t write even one exam. So in end of 2011 with the help of my family and few friends I decided to go for it again and thanks to God all mighty I made it through this journey and now I am a CPA license holder.
I am a silent visitor (most of the time) but I see Jeff has done a great job in advising , guiding , teaching and most of all, creating this site to help others, Jeff keep up the good work !
To those you have second thoughts of giving the exam or those who feel down with no motivation after falling multiple times, please keep in mind the success and opportunity after passing this exam is wonderful with the respect you get in community and peers.
The exam itself was not difficult but it needs intense studying and dedication. Set a timeframe when you want to give the final exam i.e. the forth one and add or subtract 1 or 2 months out of it and then try to finish it off. Set a study plan that’s working and stick to it if it’s working regardless of what people say. I knew some who kept saying ABC study review lacks this or that, or ABC study review does not have a lot of MCQs or simulations, but if you are passing with ABC material then stick to it. Study and give this exam as if you are auditor, Tax preparer, consultant or a managerial accountant and I bet you will pass it! And keep the fire in your belly to pass this exam.
Again, people like Jeff are a great asset to the society and with his sincere and honest effort he must have helped thousands, good luck to all!
