Which should I get? The CD ROM version or the text version. How exactly does it work? Do I go over the materials in the course then go to some website and take the test and after the test indicate which state I want the results sent to?

I would order the CD Rom. If its like the CA test, you can search for the key words.

What state are you in? It appears the ethics requirement is different depending on your state.

Is TN an AICPA ethics exam state? If so, I'd recommend the CD-ROM version. I don't think you can specifically search for something, but there is a glossary with pretty good “key words” etc.

If anyone who reads this is in California, definitely get the online version. You can use the Find feature to lookup answers. It saves a lot of time.

I am also in TN and ordered the ethics test from the AICPA Website. I ordered the book version because I seem to do better with an actual book to look through. The questions that are in the back of the book can be torn out, and I found that the questions follow along right along with the book. After you believe you have all the correct answers, there is a website provided where you enter your answers and then it will give you the results (if only the actual exams were like this)! You have 3 attempts to get 90%. It will show you what answers were correct & which ones were wrong.

i got the cd rom and printed the text version. i did most of my research by searching the pdf on the cd.
