TBS – Formulas

I recently read a post regarding Wiley TBS marking incorrect a formula a candidate put in as D7 * B7 when Wiley said the correct answer is B7 * D7. However, I cannot locate that post and I am having the same issue.

On the CPA exam, would a transposition of the formula references automatically make an answer incorrect if the result is the same?

    Thank you,

I had the same issue with Wiley. Also, there was an instance when I put a whole number rather than including the two zeroes after the decimal point and Wiley counted it wrong. I can only speak for my own experience, but for questions on the exam where that might have been an issue, there was a drop down menu with several choices. I had to know the right answer, but I didn't have to worry about issues with the format or rounding.

at the bottom of the wiley scores they explained that grading on wileys sims will be less than the actual exam since one is graded on a weighted scale while the other is graded on a propierty, something to that effect

WAIT… do they check forumulas in the real exam? I thought I could work it out on paper and put the right answer in the box… like putting 30,000 in cel C7, rather than typing B7*C7… I didn't know they were testing you on formulas as well.

    Is that the case?
