    Hi everyone, my pIan for CPA exam is: BEC (7/2/10), FAR (8/27/10), AUD (10/6/10), REG (11/9/10), so I have approximately 2months for FAR, 1 month for others. I will spend the rest of November to retake BEC and FAR (if any). I just finished my accounting MS program ( just took business law, cost accounting, IT in spring semester) , I do not work and commit to spend at least 40 hours per week with Becker self study and Wiley.

    Please give me advice.

    BEC – My advice would be to go backwards in the becker book. Ch.1 and 2 are very easy. 3-5 have more info and tons of MCQ's some of which I was not able to get to. Dont forget about the technical addendum for ch 3 or 4 which ever one is for IT. Becker will tell you where to find it online. In the end, I paid for it…missed it by 4 points (by not getting to all the questions…just simply ran out of study time)

    FAR – Actually I think Becker did a good job here. If you follow what the say you will be fine. i was actually surprised that I didnt pass. I later discovered on my sims i used the wrong calc. I literally seen myself applying the wrong one so….I will retake in August.

    REG – Becker falls WAAAAAY short on Section 1231 1245 1250 assets and like kind exchanges. Even the supplemental online was nothing in comparison to what I got from the video. I have said it before PHIL deserves a big friggin kiss for that webinar. (I won a contest here and was granted access for 1 mo to Club 75 and was able to watch webinars.)

    AUD – I dont know my score yet but i can say that my test was all theory, no calc.'s. I noticed between 5-10 questions that were verbatim from beckers test pool bank. i think the aicpa is setting my up as they will probably be my test questions that are thrown out. The sims seemed ok, not easy or hard. The written communication was ok also.

    IL - BECKER=============> DONE
    REG - 80; FAR - 65,79; AUD - 53,78; BEC - 71,68, 75 (used becker and yaeger for 3rd BEC)Ethics 95

    I'M GONNA CELEBRATE AND LIVE MY LIFE SAYING AYE OH BABY LETS GO!!!!!
