Hey all, kind of a poll here. I understand the disclosure rules so I am not asking for anything super specific but in general, which audit questions/topics did you feel were most heavily tested?

No one can really answer that question. Not because of disclosure rules but because of the nature of the test. What I may get a lot of questions on you may not see a whole lot of. I think you're setting yourself up for failure when you ask those types of question. Be familiar with all concepts

Be familiar with all topics or at least read over it one time and do some MCQ even for sampling and IT. Back to your question, I would say the audit risk equation is a must.

Ditto if you rely on someones answer to prepare for the exam then you are setitng yourself up to fail since every exam is different. With that said make sure you understand attestation in depth (mostly compilations of forecast & projections) and independence issues

After already taking 3 exams, I understand that every test varies greatly. That's also why this question is asked. I'd be a fool to only study the topics of those who responded, right?

You could take the poll and then study everything that wasn't mentioned. With that in mind, in preparing for the exam I made sure to know the different levels of assurance and scope required for each level.

I believe waiting for results is the worse part, there is nothing you can do besides be hopeful (and start saving another $350)

Yes, the Review/Compilation/Other Services can get pretty confusing! I agree Jamin! Waiting is horrible and almost ridiculous, especially for those who take an exam towards the beginning of a testing window.

In Texas it costs me around $275 to retake, let's pray my broke ass doesn't have to pay that up again!

Anybody else with input who took the test in 2011? I am using BECKER and was told that 75% of the test (grade) will come from Chapters 3-5. Any help is greatly appreciated…

I'd refer to the weights on the AICPA content specific outline rather than relying on what you were told about Becker.
