    Hi All,

    n

I am taking Audit this week but just in case I don’t pass I am going to have to take it in April or May. I lose credit for FAR in the middle of May due to the 18 months but what if I don’t find out my results before my time is up? Does anyone know how this is handled? I would appreciate any advice and also any advice for last minute studying on Audit because I am hoping I don’t even have to worry about taking it in April or May!n

Kate, you should receive your AUD score by the end of March. All scores are released before the next testing widow starts. You shouldn't have a problem not knowing by April. Good luck with AUD this week!n

Thanks for your reply. I was just wondering what if I don't pass and have to take it again in April and I don't find out my scores until after my time is up. Does anyone know what would happen then?n

If you take it in April or as long as you take it before the day your FAR expires in May & pass, then it doesn't matter what day they give you your score. So if you don't get your final passing score in June b/c of being in Wave 2, then you are done as long as you have passed BEC & REG also. It's just like out 18 month window starts from the day we pass, not the day we get our scores. Hope that makes sense.n

Kate – I'm pretty sure you cannot take the same section twice in one window. So if you take it in April, you could not re-take it in May (i.e. before you knew your April score). Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. This could be a state-by-state thing also……n

p.s. If I'm correct about what I posted above, I would wait until the last day possible in May. That would give you the most study time, (and the shortest wait for score). Good luck! Maybe you're worrying about nothing! :)n

You need to SIT for your exam before it expires. You could get your results 5 months from now and it still wouldn't matter as long as your day at the testing center was a successful attempt at the exam.n

Kate…great question…My BEC expires in the middle of May. I just took Reg for the 3rd time..and I'm planning on taking AUD the first of May…Nothing like a little extra pressure. Good Luckn
