So I am from Wisconsin, which means that I am on a 2 week delay and therefore didn’t receive my Wave 2 scores until tonight…anyway, I got a 71 on FAR so I am trying to re-register and then sit for the exam in late August. But when I try to log into the Re-Registration tab to get a new NTS it goes to a page saying:

    Profile Error

    ATTENTION!!!

“We are unable to locate your profile information on file. Please make sure you are entering in your personal ID without leading zeros. If you are unable to log in please call 1-800 CPA EXAM and a Canidate Service Representative will assist you or if you are a re-examination candidate click here to try and log into your examination information. Thank You.”

Also, when I try to log into the CPAEOASIS My Application tab it says the following…

“Our Records indicate that you do not have an active application or registration at this time”

Now I have already been approved to sit for the exam and have passed both the BEC and REG sections of the exam and will be taking the AUD on July 9th. So i dont understand how it says my application is no longer on file, especially when i have an NTS still outstanding. Has anyone ever had this happen to them before? I am seriously confused and am going to call in the morning, but was curious if this has happened to anyone else out there and if so how you went about resolving it.

    thanks

It happened to me also. Just call the 800 number and they will register you over the phone with a CC. Nobody can tell me why it isn't working, I just get the run around.

    REG,BEC,FAR - PASS, AUD 70, retake 4/26/11 85

If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back.

hey guys. i found out i failed BEC for the 3rd time with a 71 when i took it in may. i still had FAR to sit for…but decided to keep plugging away with BEC so i reapplied for a new NTS on june 18th through NASBA website for MA. well june 28 rolls around and i haven't received my NTS yet and my credit card hasn't been charged.

the NASBA website says that for NTS if you haven't received it in 5 business days for registration with a credit card to call. i spoke to some woman from the CPA exam services and she told me that my records don't show any registration or anything. so i should go ahead and try to reapply for it. i reapplied for both BEC and FAR on june 28. my credit card still hasn't been charged as of today, but i am hoping it will be. (the ONLY time i will actually be happy to see a $500+ charge on my credit card..)

after reading this i am nervous! i dunno if something is wrong with registering online?! i want to sit for BEC 2nd week of july but the later i get my NTS the less days will be open to even sit for it. i wanna take FAR at the end of aug.

any suggestions or anybody experience anything similar??

    AUD - 84; REG - 90; BEC - 79; FAR - 75; ALL DONE!!

update!! after registering again on june 28th (monday)…and still nothing i just called CPA Exam Services again and spoke to someone who was extremely helpful.

here is the deal and an FYI for everybody else: because my previous NTS didn't expire until October 2010 with BEC and FAR on it and i only sat for BEC but FAR was still outstanding….the MA website wasn't allowing me to re-register for BEC and FAR on a new NTS.

i guess i could only register for BEC. i was under the impression that you couldn't have two NTSs and that if you reapplied for a new one…it voided out the old one. well that is only the case if you already sat for the section on your previous NTS OR it expired.

needless to say i am glad i got this cleared up…so i can still use my FAR NTS that i had previously and now i can use my new BEC NTS as well. i learned something new today…

    AUD - 84; REG - 90; BEC - 79; FAR - 75; ALL DONE!!
