Re-registration problem? Anyone else had this issue?

    Hi there,

    I am trying to re-register with NASBA. I filled out the forms, picked my sections, entered my card, etc.

    When I hit “Confirm” it went to a little scroll bar that says “Processing” and keeps running, and running, and running…. It’s been doing it for about 10 minutes now!

    I checked my account, and the credit card payment to NASBA is on there. Any thoughts? Is their system just incredibly slow? Is it waiting for a person to confirm something on the other end??

    Has anyone else had this happen? If so, what did you do?

    Lovely. It must have timed out…. it went back to the “please confirm credit card information.”

    I called NASBA and their response was, “If it charged your card, it should process your registration.”

    Yet I didn't get any kind of confirmation email, no confirmation screen, and those two sections aren't greyed out from my registration screen. ARGH.

    If I miss my chosen testing time (early July) because of their stupid computer system, I'm going to FREAK OUT!!!!!!!!

    Also interesting… I seem to remember something like this happening last time I registered. I registered via telephone the previous time, and they charged my card twice.

    Are you trying to make a payment with your payment coupon?
    That happened to me the first time, so I called in my payment. The guy who took my credit card info said it freezes up frequently and recommended just calling in payments from then on.

    I was just paying with my credit card on the online re-registration system.

    I will definitely call it in next time. It takes LESS time on the phone and you don't have to worry about junk like this.

    Additionally they were uber-unhelpful when I called them about it. They gave me a “if it charged your card, I'm sure it's just fine” line. Not comforting at all.
