Does anyone know if you have to put the full name you registered to take the exams with on your certificate/license? My full name is Elizabeth but I go by Beth. I would like for it to read Beth instead of Elizabeth if possible since no one knows me by that name.

I highly doubt you can put any other name than your legal name on this thing.

If you can, I'm putting Steve as my name. Always wanted to be called Steve.

When I went to apply for the my license online, it states that you have to use your legal name. I am in the process of going back to my maiden name and can't go any further in the license application process until all of that is finalized. Then I will get my driver's license changed. It may take a while but that is okay as the hard part is over with.

If all goes as planned, I will be licensed in Georgia by summer.

@bnrhilton – Louisiana lets you put whatever you want on the license. I started to put my first name “Kricket” Last Name, but my boss, and several others, said it would look better if I didn't put Kricket. So I put my maiden name in the middle. As long as you sign your application with your legal name, you can have whatever you want on the license. It's the number that counts!!!

I was thinking I would rather have Beth on there because that is what I use every day, that is what is on my business cards, etc. I am going to call them Monday just to verify before I finish my application. Kricket, thanks for the sample letter, got it done yesterday now just have to wait for him to get back to sign it!!
