I still need to study for AUD and need to start a job hunting.

After passing four sections, do I have to pass the ethics exam to get a CPA certificate? Or is it only for a license? I think I’ve heard ethics exam will expire in two years. CPA exam won’t expire, right?

I don’t have any job experience in accounting. So I’m wondering if I can find a job that will give me attest experience.

Depends on where you are applying for a license. The rules are different from state to state. Your best bet is to go directly to the state boards website, and email them your questions. Although this board is a great resource, I'd rather get that kind of information directly from your board.

@AlexPK…as far as a job, I would prepare my educational resume, including my passing the CPA exam and attempt to meet with some local CPA firms who need interns/staff accountants for their audit work–that's usually the best way to get in the door. You might even try to go to some Big4 recruiting events that typically occur at colleges/universities.

Texas CPA - licensed in 2012!!!
