    Just curious if members on this site think the professional ethics CD is overpriced? I was charged 181.00 after tax and shipping. I think that’s just ridiculous..

    peetree, you are right, California does indeed hate us. Do you have to get your fingerprints done with LiveScan? That is a fake industry California made up to get more fees.

    acamp, so that LiveScan thing actually worked for you? It never works for me. Apparently I have no fingerprints. Go figure. I've gone through the LiveScan experience for years because I'm a Notary Public and it never works for that either. But, the rule in California is, even though I know it will fail is I have to pay for and take the LiveScan, wait for it to fail, then pay for a second test, wait for THAT to fail, and then finally they'll do the background check using my name.

    I would absolutely prefer an ethics exam to the 8 hour Ethics and Law CPE that NC requires to be licensed.

    That has all the information you need to pass.
