Poor grades, will passing the CPA help?

    I’m currently in undergrad studying accounting, and although my grades aren’t horrid, they’re nothing special (3.1). I’m at a large Big Four feeder school with a good reputation, and my state allows me to sit for the exam before fulfilling an experience requirement. Would passing the CPA exam before I go to recruiting bolster my chances of getting an interview at a Big Four or large regional/national firm for an entry-level audit position?
