Please help!!!! Just passed CPA exams

I passed the CPA exams as a Delaware candidate, but I am living in Washington now. Therefore, I want to be licensed in the State of Washington. But WA requires 150 credits BEFORE a candidate sits for his/her first exam. I only had 144 credits when I sat for my first exam.

I thought about getting a license for Delaware, then transfer the license to Washington. But none of my managers are CPAs. Delaware requires that Work Experience to be signed by a “supervising CPA”.

    What should I do??

    PLEASE HELP!n

Looks like you don't meet the requirements for licensing, and have only passed the exam. Your best bet seems to be licensed in Washington, and go back for schooling for the remaining credits.

Most states now seem to be requiring work experience prior to licensing. Honestly, I don't know why all do not require it.n
