This week has been just too crazy – finally done with the CPA exams and now I’ve completed my application for my license! One nice thing about finishing this exam after completing your work experience is that you get to apply ASAP. Thankfully my old employer returned my experience certificate immediately.
With any luck, I may be licensed before the end of the year – probably not, but I can hope 🙂

Nice. and congrats. I passed my last one last Tuesday (9/11) and still cant apply. Waiting on Illinois!

Thanks! I just went to mycpalicense.org, created an account, got my application documents downloaded, filled out and submitted.

My GF told me that there's not great instruction on what I do next after you pass. Glad she was there to help.
I noticed all I really had to do was contact my former employer for the experience, but everything else I could complete on my own.

A VERY hearty Congrats to you! That is amazing. I’m in the same boat. I submitted everything yesterday (already completing the work requirement and passing ethics in May). Now we wait for months for our actual license. 🙂 I’m in MN for those of you wondering.
