Passed the CPA exam – what now?

    Hi all,

Sorry to ask the same question that were already asked before but just wanted to hear most up-to-date information:

    So here are my questions:

    1) I found out that I passed the last part of the exam on 09/09/14. How long does it take to receive a letter from CBA acknowledging the fact?

    2) What am I to do now? I guess the next step will be to go through the worksheet and make sure I have the 150 hours required in California to apply for the license?

    3) If I don’t have enough units to meet the above requirement, how long after passing the CPA exam do I have to take classes and accumulate the 150 hours? Is there a time limit?

I would greatly appreciate your responses! Thank you in advance!

These are all great questions for your state board. Spend 5 minutes on the phone and get it straight from the source.
