    I didn’t see an application or any guidance on the Georgia State Board site or on NASBA for what I do, prepare, or sign once I pass all four exams.

    Any guidance?

    @nbad

    For the school transcript, I had to call my university. I had them send me two copies. I kept one and then sent one UNOPENED to the State Board via just regular mail.

    They were very prompt in issuing the license. I think mine took about three weeks.

    Hope this helps!

    Glad someone posted this. Hopefully, I will be completing this same process in Georgia in the next month.

    Found this today. You'd think the website would be more helpful.

    Under the NASBA site's LICENSURE tab, I was able to upload all the required documents needed for licensure. Then I sent the notarized citizenship affidavit in the mail, and got my school to send transcripts. So far so good. NASBA will send you email updates as they are doing the different steps in evaluating all your license submissions.

    Everything is uploaded and I dropped the notarized affidavit in the mail today. Fingers crossed that I did it all correctly. The entire process is not very user friendly IMHO.

    @gt5717b – as long as you got everything in, you just need to sit tight and wait for your first email update from NASBA.

    I finished uploading my docs/sent my afidavit in the mail around 11/5, and yesterday I finally got notice that my stuff was sent to the Georgia board of accountancy.

    (I'm not sure exactly the process – do you get “approved” by NASBA first, and then approved/licensed by your state? That's how it's seemed to me so far). They (Georgia board) say it can take up to 25 business days to review your application/recieve your license. So I'm guessing no hiccups along the way, Georgia's licensing process takes about 2 months from the time you get everything submitted. I guess you're about a month behind me… anywho.. yay Georgia CPAs!!
