I recently have passed all exams in AZ. I’ve been working under CPA supervision in a local firm in AZ. Now that I want to earn my license in CA. Do the work experience I have earned in AZ count toward the work experience requirements in CA?

PS: I don’t have enough work experience to apply for a CPA license yet but I’ve planned to complete my work experience once I moved to CA.

Its pretty simple to transfer scores to another state you just have to request an Authorization for the Release of records to the California Board of Accountancy.

The hard part is the experience typically any accounting experience will work but you will have to have a great relationship with the firm or company you are leaving because they have to, in a way, attest that you did have that experience.
