Has anyone recently received their certificate from PA? I was wondering how long after submitting the application, did it take to receive the certificate? I sent my application during the first week in January, my application fee (check) is still outstanding, and i have not been contacted in any manner. Until i have the certificate in my hand, i won’t actually believe that i am certified. I hope there isn’t an issue, which is holding up the processn

Join the waiting process. I sent my application in the second week of November and have not received my License. They had to wait to receive the scores from NASBA, but NASBA sends all the scores from October/November in one bulk submission at the end of the testing window. This means the state didn't receive the scores until the 2nd week of January. The last Board meeting was held on Jan 18th (according to the lady who answers the phone). So they likely did not get to review applications for people who just passed the exam.

She also told me that the Board does not meet during tax season. So I won't have my License until later spring-early summer. You should also know that you will be able to track your application process through their online tracking system. You'll eventually receive something in the mail on how to access this. But it takes their mail department 3-4 weeks after you send in you application to process your check and get you set up on that system.n
