    Hi everyone,

I just got my transcript evaluation back from NASBA International Evaluation Service. I am short of 1.5 accounting credit. I plan to take one online class, but there are so many of school choices! My coworker recommended American Public University because the cost is relatively low. I am not sure if CPA license has certain limitations/standards for schools.. I have tried to contact Georgia Board of Accountancy but I had no luck of getting hold of them. Did anyone here have to take online courses? Any idea which school I should select if I apply Georgia’s license?

    thank you!!!!

I did my MBA through American Public University. It fulfilled the accreditation requirements for Illinois. I even emailed the Illinois Board before I started to make sure I would be eligible to sit for the exam after completing my degree there.

    AUD - 56 - 68 - 61 - 9/8/16
    REG - 75
    FAR - 7/15/16
    BEC - TBD

    cleverfairy,

Did you originally apply to take the exam in GA? I thought that the education requirements had to met in order to sit?

In GA it requires 20 accounting credits to sit in the exam but 30 credits to apply for license.
