There is not very much information out there about the Oklahoma licensing timeline, so this is my experience for those from Oklahoma who have questions.
In Oklahoma the process is:
1. Receive unofficial scores online (Thursday 8/17/17)
2. Board sends Official score notification by mail along with the Experience Verification Form (received Friday 8/25/17)
3. Candidate completes Experience Verification Form and emails back to the board. Not supposed to send this in until you receive the Official score notification. (Friday 8/25/17)
4. Board Staff emails the verifier a separate form to be filled out and emailed back. (received Friday 8/25/17 and sent back to board on Friday 8/25/17)
5. Board staff reviews and approves Experience Verification (Tuesday 8/29/17)
6. Board staff sends Application for Certification form to Candidate by mail (received Wednesday 8/30/17)
7. Candidate returns completed Application for Certification along with 8hrs AICPA ethics training, 32hrs additional CPE (if applying for permit to practice), and fees. (Mailed to board on 8/31/17)
8. Board reviews and approves the application at the next monthly meeting assuming it is not cancelled (Friday 9/22/17)
9. Assigned license number and permit to practice number. (Friday 9/22/17)
11. Receive CPA certificate at New CPA Recognition Ceremony at the Oklahoma State Capitol (one held in the Fall and Spring) (TBD – 11/18/17?)
