YOU ABSOLUTELY CANNOT DISCLOSE WHAT YOU SAW ON YOUR EXAM.

IT IS AN ACT DISCREDITABLE TO THE PROFESSION AND CAN KEEP YOU FROM GETTING CERTIFIED.

THE AICPA READS THIS SITE – YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT.

Sorry – just had to do that. It seems more and more people are forgetting the disclosure agreement.

OK: “Man FAR was terrible…All three testlets were a beast, Sim 1 was ridiculous…didn’t finish Sim 2. Hope I passed.”

NOT OK: “I can’t believe I had so many questions over _______. I didn’t expect to get a sim over ______ either…didn’t think they would test on that. Hoping for the best!”

Please excuse the caps…I just can’t be any clearer that this is serious and I will send one warning for the first offense and ban after the 2nd offense…I simply have no choice in the matter.

    Sorry for getting all rude-like,

    Jeff

    Thanks for the reminder.

Though I was just wondering, what if I saw a question on the CPA test, the answer to which I do not know, and which I can't find even in the study text… In such a situation, is it like I can never find out the right answer since I shouldn't be asking people online??

I would always err on the side of conservatism.

If you have a question that you didn't know and you ask someone about the topic, I wouldn't give them any indication, hint, wink, nudge that you saw it on your exam.

People who prepared for REG using Becker should know better especially. They explain this specifically.

Do you have the ability to delete any comments that you feel are inappropriate?

Yes – I can edit or delete.

The problem is that I cannot read every single post word for word – especially around score release time.

I know that people mean well…they just get forgetful and let their guard down…I'm just trying to remind everyone to not forget 🙂

    Jeff,

You're such an accountant! “Err on the side of conservatism.”

… and I'm such a nerd for finding that funny 🙁

Aud- Pass, BEC- Pass, FAR- Pass, REG- Pass.... Done!

I don't know if it is just me… but, I can't remember all the things on some of my exams. I remember some of the questions that I had trouble with, but, honestly, can't remember much. LOL. Maybe I just blocked it all out.

I did take Reg first, and when I saw everyone posting about the particular topics, I had thought that it wasn't ok.

Thanks Jeff, for reminding us to watch what we disclose about the exam. We did sign an agreement at the beginning of the exam.

    REG - 85
    BEC - 79
    AUD - 82
    FAR - 87
