    Hi Jeff,

I'm new to this site. I've enjoyed reading the comments and found a lot of the suggestions helpful. I have one part passed so far (Audit-75). I used Becker for this part but I also used Becker for REG and got a 63. I made the switch to Yaeger because I didn't think Becker did too good of job with the tax material. Anyway, to make a long story short, I'm interested in joining Club 75 to receive your notes on FAR and REG. Is the membership month-to-month or by year?

It's month to month…cancel at any time. For the most part, people have canceled when they pass. 🙂

I'm definitely interested in Club 75. How many pages are your REG notes? I started going through Module 33 Individual Taxes in the Yaeger review. I do like the hands part of the course but I'm not sure where I should be making notes. I don't know if you had taken Becker before but they tell you where to highlight and what to memorize. But I also think they gloss over a lot of material. I found the simulations in this past testing window to be extremely difficult.

Danicorcoran- I just started yaeger too and I had prevously used becker. It is a lot diff as becker tells u exactly what to highlight. Are you using a notebook to take notes? I find that me writing my notes takes a long time. Any tips?

    Hi MsMadam,

I passed Audit-75 with Becker. I found that I just memorized a lot of the answers without understanding the concepts. I mean I guess if you are doing hundreds or even thousands or multiple choice questions over and over again the concepts will eventually sink in. I worked a ton of multiple choice questions for Audit. But I think it also helped that I was an auditor. I think Jeff's notes for REG and FAR might help me. I didn't think Becker did too good of a job for REG. I'm not saying that either because I didn't pass. The simulations weren't anything like Becker's and the topics were out in left field.

I passed 3 out of 4 using becker but you are right, becker just makes you memorize everything. I bought yaeger for FAR b/c i just recently failed and realized I needed to actually LEARN the concepts. My questions is, are you taking lots of notes while watching the modules? I was thinking of using 2 laptops and typing my notes while the lectures were playing cause I can def type faster than handwrite. Also, did REG come with a clarification usb device? Do we have to watch that?

My REG notes are scans of my final notes that I wrote on graph paper. I should probably type them out like my FAR notes. The REG notes are tossed in there as a bonus. They are what I used to score a 92 on REG.

They are concise little nuggets covering taxation. The B-Law and Ethics part are covered by the Yaeger handout, so I just studied that.

    Hi Jeff!

I sent you an e-mail a few weeks ago with a few questions, but never received a response. I sent it from my work e-mail, is there a chance you did not receive it or it got sent to a spam folder?
