Anyone has any insight on this. The NYS Board recieved my Form 4 and Form 4b around March 12-13th. They told me they sent the paper work to the board at the end of March. I’m still waiting for my CPA, should I give them more time for review, or is this wait above average, and I should contact them?

3 weeks was the wait time last year. Hmm I would follow up. It should've taken a few days after final board review. Have you checked the office of professions website? You could've already received your license #. They update it daily, and they don't send a notice

Yep, mine was about 3 weeks as well. Definitely check on the website, it was there before I got it in the mail.

    Couldn't pass again!

Thank you! Yes, I've checked the website. 1 person at the board told me up to 8 weeks and a different person told me 3 weeks.

The wait can be so long. I passed last exam on November 30th. Results received in December. Just missed 4th quarter window for CPA board evaluation here in Wisconsin and also needed to complete Ethics exam first. Board finally met on Tuesday, April 24th for the window I am in. But no notification as yet on web site or by snail mail. Maybe next week I'll know.
