I recently passed all four parts of the exam but do not meet the licensing requirement by 2 months. My question is, what does passing the 4 parts with out the license mean? Am I technically a CPA without a license or a qualified candidate who has just passed the test?

I wanted some clarification for the purposes of updating my resume and to know what to call myself..

If somebody can explain to me or direct me to a source, I would be most grateful. I tried looking for the information on the New York Board of Accountancy but did not find anything.

“CPA candidate pending license” is that what you put?? I am currently waiting on my last sections' results and figuring out what to put on my resume and a change of business cards. Any input appreciated for those who passed but looking/working for the experience requirements.n
