Has anyone else noticed that there are very few opportunities to take the exam after the first quarter? I just received a new NTS and there are a ton of available seats in the first quarter, but once I start looking at April the availability drops off considerably.

1. I think the NTS eligibility dates will limit the availability of dates to when the NTS is current.

2. You can search prometric.com/cpa by just looking for “search for seat availability” without putting in your number.

I don't know if I understood your point about ‘seat availability', but I think that the Prometric scheduling program is set to offer a 3-months interval to select a seat. Thus, if today is Dec. 22, then it should show the Calendar up to March 22. At least, that was my case (providing that the NTS itself was valid for more than 3 months at the time of scheduling).
