I thought I read somewhere (maybe Jeff’s 50 things CPA candidates should know, or something like that) that you don’t actually have to wait for the congrats letter before sending in the license application. Just curious if anyone has tried it. I’d love to be able to send in my paperwork before I have baby #2, due mid-October, but I’d hate for that to cause issues. I’m not sure how long MN takes to send out the letters. It days that they will be mailed by 11/15… But it also says right on the application form to wait until you receive the letter…

I think I read somewhere you should call the board to get them to hustle the congrats stuff to you? no idea not sure…I wonder the same let us know what you find out!!!!

I'm in GA and I sent in my application before I received my official congrats letter and they processed my application no problem.

@NoScores – I'd try contacting someone with your BOA. The email I received said that they get the information from NASBA 2.5 months after the close of the testing window (so mid-Nov) and that's when they send the letters out. It's at least worth asking about, I think!
