Hi , im from Egypt and im a fresh graduated and still unemployed and im thinking of taking the CPA exam internationally before getting employed. would you guys advice me of taking the exam now or after being employed and will i need the license outside USA

Take the exam now, since you are still unemployed. Its easier to pass this exam without having a full time job. And, also if you pass the exam, it will give you a edge while looking for jobs as compared to other candidates who are still trying to pass or have passed parts.

I dont get the other part of your question? need the license outside USA? can you be more specific or detailed….

i mean after passing the four parts , i should seek the license to practice as a CPA in USA ….. and im in EGYPT so, am i in need for license??as it requires work experience which i don't have , and can i work without it or not ??

Hi Marwan,

You probably want the license … you wont be able to put the letters ( CPA ) on your business card without the license i guess ….

if you take the tests under the state of new hampshire … i guess – not sure … they only require 120 credit hours. so you can be licensed under the state of new Hampshire when u get the experience.

The problem about getting the license is that you need to work under a USA CPA for at least 1 year. Its not that easy to find one outside of USA.
