My favorite part about the CPA exam – Waiting

By far the best part about the CPA exam is the waiting. Waiting for your initial NTS, waiting for your score, waiting for a new NTS, waiting for your congratulations letter, waiting for your license. It seems like we sure like to wait for things.

I am currently waiting (and wasting valuable study time if I didn’t pass) for my AUD score. I have credit for REG, FAR, & BEC, with FAR being the first to expire on 10/30/2011. I took REG in February and passed. I took a Becker live course for AUD that started the week after I took REG. I studied for the entire month of March and April and took AUD at the end of April. I felt like two months was plenty of time and I would have started forgetting things had I studied any more. I have had a good break of almost a month and I am ready to start studying again if needs be, however I don’t know if I need to study or not. So here I wait, feeling like my life has been paused for the next month, not able to start any new adventures/endeavors because if I didn’t pass I need to start studying again. I hate waiting.

Know the feeling. All I've been doing for the last 3 1/2 months is studying (took all 4 exams this test window), and it's almost like I don't know what to do with myself now because I'm in limbo until I get my scores.

    FAR 4/1/11 - 89
    AUD 4/15/11 - 85
    REG 4/29/11 - 80
    BEC 5/13/11 - 85
