Just wondering – did you apply for AECR before or after you passed all 4 parts of the exam? And how long did it take to receive the confirmation? Thanks!

I moved my scores from Delaware to MA so I did AECR and score transfer.

It took 4 weeks for the AECR to complete if you provide them with everything they need.

Score transfer was 2 weeks and another 2 weeks for the license to come in.

so whats the advantage of having a MA nonreporting license if you live in another state? just curious, can i put CPA on my resume if i have this?

I don't work in public accounting so I don't think it matters to me if I'm licensed in my state or not.

I believe those who work in public accounting will be able to explain the pros and cons of actually living in state A and holding a license in state B.

A non-reporting CPA basically have the same privileges of a full fledged CPA, the only disadvantage is that you cannot sign off on audits but you can still use the CPA title.

I live in MA and have a non reporting CPA but the only person who needs to know it's non reporting is me since I don't do attest. However this AECR started after I was licensed so I'm not sure about how that works.
