Any one know if we can combine part-time and full-time work experience? I work for the same CPA firm during 2011 for 8 months as a part-time worker. My employment restarted in Nov 2012 to date as a full time employee.

I try to contact NJ state, instead of answering my question, they just restated the below statement.

    NJ State work experience requirement:

“Experience shall be obtained in full-time

regular employment based on a minimum of 1,750 hours per

year. Part-time experience shall be considered equivalent if

acquired within two consecutive years and in no less than the

same amount of hours required for full-time experience.”

I would say that 8 months of part time experience translates to 4 months of full time experience. You'll probably need another 6 months at your current job before you get approved.

    Thanks for the reply!

Do you mind me asking, why 6 months?
