Finally I received an email from my Board that my license has been approved and it is on its way. It feels great to be over with EVERYTHING now . It was a long and tough journey, but its worth it. It really feels good to say that ” I am a CPA”.

Anyways the email that i received says that my license expires after a year, so my question is “Do I have to get some CPE credits each year to renew my license?n

I'm in KY. When I received my license # and paperwork in the mail, it said my license expires in July 2012 and that I'll need a reduced number (34 hrs) of CPE credits for my first reporting period (now-Dec 2011) for my first renewal.

So, my quess is your paperwork will come in the mail and let you know.n
