Is convenient to make reciprocity of your CPA to other state?

    Hi there,

How important is for the States that you have your designation in that specific state?

I’m not intending to be an auditor and sign financial statements in public practice but working in industry or internal audit.

I don’t know if recruiters are picky that your designation be in a particular state or if you are good to go just to be a CPA.

    Do you know something?

    Thanks!

I am looking to reciprocate states because I live so close and it would be a win-win situation for my career. I don't think reciprocating is a bad idea. It may cost a little more money to register in another state, but I don't see where a recruiter would pass up a cpa because of being licensed in one state only.

I would make sure I stay current in my home state though………just food for thought.

    It begins with a 75
