I work in a small local CPA firm as a Staff Accountant and there is no Audit work in the office. We do Individual tax, Business Tax, Sales tax, Payroll Tax, Consulting, Non-Profits Consulting. I have been working there since last 2 years. I’m taking FAR on Nov 25, 2013. My question is that is it going to a problem regarding work experience when I’ll apply for license in NY?

    Thank you

It doesn't have to be audit. You can have a year of experience in bookkeeping and tax, as long as you're supervised by a CPA registered in NY and they sign off.
